In this website, I'm trying to describe "everything" about butterflies...

Vast majority of Pteron World's contents are in Japanese. I will try to translate them into English as much as possible.
In this website, there are about 1,400 species and subspecies of butterflies shown. Most of them have upperside and underside. Few of them have females photos too. If you would like to browse through these photos, try this page. It contains Japanese characters, so you may see lots of confusing characters, but you should be able to see names of butterflies in scientific names.
