ぷてろんワールドで紹介されている蝶たちを本にまとめました。上の写真にあるように３種類ありますが、全て一冊にまとめた完全版（写真右）と、内容を二部に分けた第一巻と第二巻（写真左の２冊）があります。完全版と分冊版の内容は同じですのでお気を付けください。以下が掲載されているグループです。ページ番号の前に「I-」とあるのが第I巻で、「II-」とあるのが第II巻です。「n.c.」とあるグループは載っていません。
完全版は総ページ数718ページあり、オンデマンド印刷の本としては限界に近い厚さとなっています。テスト印刷した本を半年ほど開いたり閉じたりしてみましたが、主なダメージはありません。しかし、長期となるとページが剥離するのではないかと危惧しています。ご心配な方は本の厚さを半分にした分冊版をご用意していますので、そちらをご検討ください。
- 内容はぷてろんワールドで紹介している蝶で、アゲハチョウ上科（アゲハチョウ科、シャクガモドキ科、シロチョウ科、シジミチョウ科、シジミタテハ科、タテハチョウ科）の標本写真集です。セセリチョウ上科は含まれていません。
- 標本写真以外の情報はありません。解説は今後別に出版する予定です。索引はPDFで無料提供していますので（こちら）、そちらを参照してください（別途出版も予定しています）。
- ほとんど私一人でやっているので、同定や採集地に誤りが含まれる場合があります。引用の際は十分ご注意ください。内容に誤りがあれば、「Error Report」のページで報告します。
- 分類は可能な限り系統に基づいて並べていますが、レイアウトの限界や修正でそうでない場合があります。
- 分類は著者の見解に基づくもので、研究者によって異なる解釈があります。
- 一部蛾が含まれています。見つけてお楽しみください。
- 商用利用以外であれば、画像などの使用は自由です。ただし、内容に誤りが含まれる可能性がありますのでご注意ください。SNSでの共有（ページ全体や一部切り取りもOK）、プレゼン資料、アート制作などにも自由にご利用ください。
- 標本写真はAdobe Photoshopでデジタル修正しています。針の削除や翅の傷・破損の修復を行っていますが、模様などを改変しないように配慮しています。修復が難しい部分はそのままにしています。
- 蝶の写真は、ほぼ実物大になります。写真は統一サイズで撮影していますが、撮影時期が異なるため、わずかなズレがある可能性があります。

This book brings together the butterflies introduced on Pteron World.
As shown in the photo above, there are three versions: a single Complete Edition (right in the photo), and Volumes I and II split into two separate books (left in the photo). Please note that the content of the Complete Edition and the split volumes is identical. Please see above table of contents. Page numbers starting with "I-" are covered in Volume I, "II-" are covered in Volume II. Complete edition covers them all.
The complete edition has a total of 718 pages, which is close to the maximum thickness possible for a print-on-demand book. I tested one copy by repeatedly opening and closing it over the course of about six months, and it showed no significant damage. However, over the long term, I am concerned that the pages may begin to detach. For those who are worried about this, a split edition—dividing the book into two volumes at half the thickness—is also available, and I recommend considering that option.

- The content consists of specimen photographs of butterflies introduced on Pteron World, covering the superfamily Papilionoidea (families Papilionidae, Hedylidae, Pieridae, Lycaenidae, Riodinidae, and Nymphalidae). The superfamily Hesperioidea (skippers) is not included.
- There is no information other than specimen photographs. Explanatory text will be published separately in the future. An index is available for free as a PDF here, so please refer to that (a printed edition is also planned).
- Since this project is carried out mostly by myself, there may be errors in identification or locality. Please be careful when citing. If any errors are found, they will be reported on the “Error Report” page.
- The arrangement of taxa is based on phylogeny as much as possible, but due to layout limitations or revisions, this is not always the case.
- The classification reflects the author’s interpretation, and different researchers may have different views.
- A few moths are also included—please enjoy discovering them.
- Images and other content may be used freely for non-commercial purposes. However, please note that errors may exist. You are welcome to use them for social media sharing (whole pages or cropped parts), presentation materials, art projects, and more.
- The specimen photographs have been digitally retouched with Adobe Photoshop. Pins have been removed and wing damage repaired, while care has been taken not to alter natural patterns. Areas difficult to repair have been left as they are.
- The butterfly photos are shown at approximately life-size. All were photographed at a uniform size, but slight discrepancies may exist due to differences in shooting periods.
- This book is printed on demand after you place an order. Printing is done in the United States, and shipped from there. Please note that printing and shipping will take some time after your order.
